From producing art and graphics to merging visuals with storytelling, being creative is my lifelong passion.
Teaching art is about connecting and collaborating with students on an imaginative, conceptual level while acknowledging them as fellow artists and future innovators. By embracing aesthetic freedom, I expect student artists to push personal boundaries and take creative leaps. My goal is to create a studio space where we mass produce ideas, embrace experimentation, use mistakes to guide thinking, and become world changers.
By applying my knowledge of graphic design, I plan to merge art and technology within the art studio/classroom, providing opportunities for students to explore the realms of print, video, mobile, digital, and web, as well as traditional art media and processes. Technology is a 21st century tool used to discover personal voice and learn new skills that are relevant to today’s digital society.
